Micro-Grant Report: My Network for Women and The Mac Group (2019)
The micro-grant was used to hold an event to get people talking about World Mental Health day. The event included speakers, stalls for therapists, panel discussion and Mental Health Practitioners to exhibit their services.
Conclusion
- The event helped groups to potentially grow their membership and has provided some interesting contacts to follow up regarding individuals who would benefit from their therapies.
- This recent event has underpinned My Network For Women's reputation of holding high profile, well organised and relevant events for their current members and a potentially wider network of women in business.
- My Network For Women were happy with how they were able to increase the awareness of the work that The Mac Group does in the mental health sector in Doncaster and made some useful connections with local self-employed therapists who hopefully may join our group in the future.
- Working in collaboration continued to strengthen the links and synergies between our two organisations (My Network For Women and The Mac Group)
