Healthwatch Doncaster attended emergency and out of hours services across Doncaster over a 24 hour period in September 2019, to engage with patients to gather their experiences.
The information received by Healthwatch Doncaster and discussions with various stakeholders led to the development of a survey to ascertain the views and opinions of the local population regarding access to all services provided by their GP Practice
The Authorised Representatives felt that the home had a supportive, friendly and caring atmosphere. Residents seemed happy and well cared for. We were made welcome by the manager and staff and observed genuinely caring interactions between staff
After its initial publication in 2016, NHS Doncaster CCG have refreshed the Doncaster Place Plan, highlighting how health and care services will look until 2022
The micro-grant was used to hold an event to get people talking about World Mental Health day. The event included speakers, stalls for therapists, panel discussion and Mental Health Practitioners to exhibit their services.
The Authorised Representatives felt that the home had an upbeat, friendly atmosphere. Interactions between staff and residents were very good. The environment was clean and tidy.
