YOUR Healthwatch has a place on Doncaster Council's Health and Wellbeing Board. The purpose of the Health and Wellbeing Board is to improve the health and wellbeing for the residents of Doncaster and to reduce inequalities in health outcomes. The Health and Social Care Act gives specific new functions to the Health and Wellbeing Board including leading on the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) together with leading on the development and delivery of the priorities contained within the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy (JHWS).

NHS Doncaster Clinical Commissioning Group are a membership organisation comprising of the 43 member GP practices based in Doncaster, with responsibility for commissioning (buying and organising) healthcare services for around 300,000 patients in Doncaster. The 43 Member Practices are grouped into five localities and monthly locality meetings led by locality leads and attended by nominated practice representatives are held in each locality to ensure effective engagement of member practices in the work of their governing body.
