South Yorkshire Care Providers Shortlisted for 2023 HSJ Awards

The shortlist has been announced for the prestigious 2023 HSJ Awards with South Yorkshire healthcare providers shortlisted in three categories.
South Yorkshire ICB

There are 25 award categories in 2023 covering innovation, partnership work, efficiency and safety amongst others. The nominees from South Yorkshire are: 

  • Staff Wellbeing Award: NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), and South Yorkshire Integrated Care System (ICS) - Mission: menopause – changing culture in South Yorkshire
  • Integrated Care Initiative of the Year: NHS South Yorkshire ICB, Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust, Primary Care Doncaster and Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber Foundation Trust and FCMS Doncaster - Doncaster Wound Care Alliance
  • Mental Health Innovation of the Year: Sheffield Health and Social Care Foundation Trust - “Less Talk, More Action”: Listening to, and working with community leaders to reduce Race Inequalities in Mental health

Dr David Crichton, Chief Medical Officer at NHS South Yorkshire said: “Congratulations to all of the South Yorkshire healthcare providers shortlisted in this year’s HSJ Awards. Being shortlisted for the HSJ Awards is a great honour and an opportunity to showcase the great work our teams have undertaken over the last 12 months.

“Being nominated for these awards is a wonderful opportunity for South Yorkshire to share our innovative approach to improving services, transforming culture and delivering excellent patient care with our NHS colleagues across the country.
