Local Community Interest Company preferred bidder for Healthwatch contract in Doncaster
Doncaster Healthwatch Community Interest Company (CIC) is delighted to announce it has been awarded the preferred bidder status of the Healthwatch contract in Doncaster for the next three years.
After an extensively in-depth tender process, that involved compiling an exhaustive document detailing how Doncaster Healthwatch CIC meets the requirements of the local authority’s specification, it was confirmed to Chief Operating Officer Andrew Goodall, this morning (19th June 2017) of Doncaster Healthwatch’s CIC preferred bidder notification
Engage, inform, influence
Healthwatch Doncaster Chief Operating Officer Andrew Goodall said:
"The whole organisation is energised by this development as it means we can press ahead with plans forthcoming to engage, inform and influence across a range of different activities and methods."
“This fantastic news comes after a very successful weekend at Doncaster Town Cricket Club during the Great Get Together, when Healthwatch had a presence over two days, gathering local people’s views on health and social care services.”
Doncaster Healthwatch CIC undertook the contract on 1st July 2016, when it was novated from its host provider Carers Federation, who had held the contract since 2013.
