A new report has found that health and care partners in South Yorkshire are outperforming other areas when it comes to joining up services for patients. That’s despite higher than average levels of deprivation.

Over £9 million will be invested at Montagu Hospital in the coming months, as plans to further expand the site’s Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) are approved by the National CDC Programme, with support from the South Yorkshire integrated Care Board

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals has welcomed Thunder the Therapy dog, an 8-year-old Woolly Siberian Husky known for his soothing abilities. Thunder is renowned for his ability to lower stress & anxiety levels of hospital staff and patients

Healthwatch Doncaster are working with the NHS and Doncaster Council on a project to listen to people about their own and their loved ones experiences of using Dementia services.
